God Answers All Calls

"And call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you and you will honor me" (Psa. 50:15).

Was there life before cell phones? In cars, restaurants, walking down the street, or even in church, they are "attached" to people's ears. It seems like open communication at any time is the maxim of today. Curiously, do you "draw the line" as to where you won't carry the cell phone?

God has a communication system between Himself and His children. He is "on call," 24 hours a day. He never "runs out of minutes." He receives many calls...never misses one. We never get put into an automated system. He answers all calls personally.

Trouble visits all of us. "Yet man is born to trouble as surely as the sparks fly upward" (Job 5:7). It may strike us suddenly. But God is personally "on call." "And call upon me in the day of trouble." He will receive the faintest signal.

The promise of the Lord is that He will deliver. Not maybe, not I'll try, not if I feel like it, not if I'm not too busy. I WILL deliver. The one who has promised to deliver, has the power to do it. "That power belongs to God" (Psa. 62:11). God is the one who delivers, not people, although He often uses people.

So what is it that we do when trouble comes? Do we exhaust every human resource first? What we need to do in the midst of trouble is call, and know that He is on the other end of the line. He will deliver us. He may not say when or how. He is not in a hurry as we are. He knows the right monent. After God listens to our need, He completes our call. We are delivered and He is honored.

"Call upon me----I will deliver you" He is Just a call away...

Have a wonderful week...I look forward to writing as soon as I get back..Let your light shine....Love mark Phil. 4:11
