Getting Out Of Trouble

"Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you will revive me" (Ps. 138:7).

When we become Christains, some wondrous things happen to us. One of them is NOT an immunity to the problems of life. Freedom from the troubles the afflict all human beings are not over. Job said, "For man is born for trouble as the sparks fly upward" (Job 5:7).

In today's scripture, we see that David has learned about these troubles. What he has also learned is that in times of difficulty, it is time to turn to God. Even though his deliverence from his problem(s) was not always immediate, he could feel the presence of the Lord. Even if trouble encompassed him, he was revived in it...REVIVED!

Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had a ninety foot high image of gold built. It was decreed that at the sound of "horns, flutes, lyres, zithers, harps or pipes" that all should bow to that golden image. (Dan. 3: 1, 5, 6.) Kind of like a game of musical chairs with those left standing being thrown into a blazing furnace. Three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, refused to bow down and were thrown into the furnace. A furnace seven times hotter that normal. Suddenly four men were seen walking in the furnace, prompting the king to say, "the fourth looks like a son of the gods" (3:25). They were brought from the fire and their clothes, hair, and bodies, were not even singed. They didn't even smell of smoke. Even as they were in the midst of the fire, God walked with them, protecting them until He delivered them.

We often find ourselves in the midst of trouble. Often, God uses this in the process of accomplishing His purpose for our lives. In Psalm 138:8, David says, "The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me." Not may or can.....WILL! In the very center of our trouble He "revives" us. In the right time, He gives us fresh courage and strength to press on.

The Lord knows our every need and problem. He has brought us to the place. We must put our complete trust in Him that He will work it out for His good and purpose. He WILL revive us

Have a wonderful day....Make a difference.... Love mark Phil. 4:11
