The Last Of The Wonderful Fruit

"He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields it's fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither" (Ps.1:3).

The verse from the Book of Psalms is talking about the fruit of a righteous person, whose leaf does not wither. As I finish writing about the perfect and peak fruit from Gal.5:22 that never spoils, we come to the final three. Remember; Love, joy and peace are the wonderful fruit that ripens into our relationship with God...Patience, kindness and goodness are the fruit that ripens into our relationship with other people. We now come to the last three. To complete this fantastic and fully ripened fruit, we have come to faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. These fruit are those that ripen into a healthy relationship with self. The fruit of faithfulness is all about doing what we say. It is fruit that helps us to fulfill our responsibilities. Gentleness is the delicious fruit that keeps all of our energies under control. Though we might want to react instinctively to a wrong, we rather deflect by harnessing our strength and keeping it controlled. Lastly, we come to that rare fruit of self-control. As our faithfulness has us doing what we say, the fruit of gentleness harnesses our energies in a positive way. Only then can we grow the elusive fruit of self-control. The fruit of self-control, when at it's peak, allows us to master ourselves. It takes our desires and passions and makes them manageable, so that they do not master us. The fruit of the spirit in Galatians 5, are necessary to live the kind of life that the Lord wants us to live....And what's best....They are attainable....Tomorrow is about how to grow this fruit....

Have a great start to your week...It would be fantastic to begin it with a RAK....Love mark Phil.4:11
