At The End Of The Quest

"I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again" (Jn. 3:3).

The term "born again" is used a lot in speaking about becoming a Christian. Christianity is all about being anchored in Jesus Christ. He is the first note in our symphony of life. He told us that no one can come to the Father except through Him. And so we go on the quest to find our true faith. It is an earnest quest that we must all go on to find the object of our faith. So.....What's at the end of our quest? As Jesus talked to the Pharisee Nicodemus in today's verse, a rebirth was necessary. An obedience to Jesus unto salvation and then a new life...And that's the answer! At the end of our quest is a new life! "You are no longer aliens, but fellow-citizens with God's people and members of God's household" (Eph. 2:19). The new life means that we have a new family. We receive the Spirit of sonship, as we gain a new relationship with God. Our new life means that we no longer want to live in sin, so we try as hard as we can to resist temptations. Our new life entails a brand new set of goals. What we once considered profit, is now loss for the sake of Christ as we seek His righteousness and kingdom. Here is a favorite of mine..."I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstance" (Phil. 4:11). We are able to find a contentment in life that we never knew before. Finally, there's that new source of power..."For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power" (1 Tim. 1:7). With the help of the Holy Spirit, we have a new power plant to move us in the right direction...It is a great quest that we have embarked upon, but at its end is the real pot of gold....A new life in Jesus....

Have a great start to your week....Begin it with a RAK..... Love mark Phil. 4:11
