The Walk Of Worship

"Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care" (Ps. 95:6).

When I looked up the word worship in the dictionary, there was a paragraph of explanation. It says; "great honor or reverence paid to someone or something regarded as sacred.....religious ceremonies or services in which one expresses such honor and reverence"...I stopped there though there's much more. I would like to talk about worship for the next few days. My first thought is that worship enlarges and expands my view of God. "For the Lord is the great God, the great king above all gods. In his hands are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him" (Ps.95:3-4). Our God desires that we glory in him and delight ourselves in him. Before sophisticated instrumentation, aviators used the horizon as their guide. The Lord is our instrumentation and is able to expand our horizons. I get to look way beyond myself and become enamored with God. The things that previously ate away at me emotionally in the temporary, no longer drag me down. As my focus changes, the insecurities, fears and anxieties have less and less effect on me. Our sincere worship of the Lord makes some wonderful revelations to me. As we look at today's verse, God is revealed to me as the creator and shepherd. This means that in Him I not only have being, but a guide to illuminate the path of life...More about this worship tomorrow...

Have a great day... Make a difference... Love mark Phil.4:11
