Land Of Milk And Honey

"So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey" (Ex.3:8)

In chapter three of the Book of Exodus, the angel of God appears to Moses "in flames of fire from within a bush." This is that famous bush that was on fire but did not burn up. God calls to Moses through that burning bush and gives his people the promise that is in today's verse. There is a land promised to the people. We have come simply call it, THE PROMISED LAND...I would suggest to you that God has made that same promise to everyone. We all have the opportunity to live in God's promised land. We need to live there. We need to live there because the world would like to push us in all directions. The promised land is something solid that we can depend upon. Because the world makes so much noise and pushes us to and fro, we may not be able to see our potential to change. The world makes empty promises, but God has a true purpose for our life. The world is all about the physical aspect of life while God invites us to the spiritual side. "So God created man in His own image" (Gen.1:27). We were made to live on a higher plane. In the physical world there is so much divisiveness. The land that God promises to us is not so easily divided. It is a land in which we can experience a personal spiritual growth beyond anything we might imagine. By being created in God's image, we are equipped to live in this promised land. It is a land of stronger families and powerful opportunities to witness for our Lord..More about this promised land tomorrow...

Have a wonderful day...Lets make a difference in our small part of the world Love mark Phil.4:11
