Seeing The Invisible

"With that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak, because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you in his presence" (2 Cor.4:13-14).

For some one to excel is any aspect of life, they must have a confidence in their ability. An athlete, after training diligently, must exude a confidence that he will perform well. That is not to say that he needs to be arrogant, but confidence is a good thing. One of the traits that I admire and respect in the apostle Paul is his undying confidence. In today's verse we find him brimming with confidence in God. He is able to see the invisible and show it to us. That same God who raised Jesus from the dead will one day also raise us with Jesus and present us with you in His presence. In verse 15 of the same chapter, we find him feeling the power that lies in gratitude. "All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God." He knows that whatever pain, affliction or discouragement that might try to creep in, is more than matched with a constant inner renewal. He is able to put the now and then on a scale and show us the comparison. However life is for us in the now will be most assuredly outweighed by our eternal life with the Lord. The invisible is shown to us as real, permanent, eternal and wonderful. His confidence ought to be ours too. Seeing the invisible ought to make it so...

Have a wonderful day... Go about doing good... Love mark Phil.4:11
