One More Reflection

"I rejoice in your word as one who finds great treasure" (Psa.119:162).

The technology involved with finding treasures in sunken vessels is amazing. From the locating equipment to the searching devices, ships that sunk many years ago are found and their treasures brought to the surface. We don't need all that technology to unearth the treasures of God's message to us. It simply takes some reading along with our meditation and reflection. That Law of Reflection is still applicable, as we will get out of our Bibles what we put into them. Are you looking for hope? "For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope" (Rom.15:4). Are you looking for something to help guide your life? "All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for teaching in righteousness" (2 Ti.3:16). As we read and reflect upon God's Word, we find an incorruptible seed just waiting to be planted. The seed is able to produce a new birth accompanied by spiritual growth. When we read and reflect upon the Lord's Word, it becomes a powerful force. It is powerful enough to "judge the thoughts and attitudes of the heart" (Heb.4:12)

The Bible is truly a fantastic wellspring of great blessings. Those blessings can only be incurred, however, if one is willing to read and meditate upon it. This ends my four day series about reflection. It has been my reflection on how to improve our spiritual lives. I hope that it has encouraged all of us, me included, to read and reflect much, much more....

Have a great day... Don't forget....Its RAK week... Love mark Phil.4:11
