Love Can Ease The Doubts

"Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God" (1 Jn.3:21)

Love is to affect how one lives his or her life. In this setting of the apostle John's writing, nothing was more important than to cement the relationship between love and behavior. As was pointed out yesterday, if one does not do good because of their love, then love is merely a word... Love that is real is love that is imbedded in truth. There is an assurance that we are in Christ when we see the difference that He has made in our lives. There is a sharing of blessings that come with a life in Him... All this being said, it is not uncommon for a Christian to have doubts, especially when sin creeps into their lives. One may waver as he or she thinks about being in Christ, but still falling prey to sin... The answer to these doubts? "This then is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in His presence whenever our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts, and He knows everything" (1 Jn.3:19-20). A conscience that has become oversensitive, can be put to ease in the knowledge that God's active love is an evidence of our salvation. He knows the hearts of everyone! Even if we sin, His love for us through His Son Jesus Christ will come to our rescue... We should never allow self-doubt to steal the joy that should be in our lives. The love that we see and experience in our lives and in the lives of other believers is inspired by God's love for us... It gives us the confidence that we are His children... Love can ease the doubts....

Have a great day... Make a difference... Love mark Phil.4:11
