Hey Fella

"If we claim to have fellowship with Him yet walk in darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth" (1 Jn.1:6).

I bought a gas grille a couple of years ago, and of course it came unassembled. The directions said it could be put together in 45 minutes. With my skills in this arena, it took me 45 minutes to get it all the parts out of the box. After an hour or two of work, Jane got home and we put it together.... Together.... Its a great grille that we have used countless times, but I have absolutely no desire to take it apart. With all the parts put together correctly (there were no parts left over) it functions just the way it is supposed to... There is a togetherness aspect of life that should never be under appreciated. The New Testament speaks a lot about this togetherness, hence my title today... I am going to give you some examples, and so that I can include them all, I will just list the scriptures. They would be good ones to read and perhaps meditate upon when you get a chance. We are called to be fellow servants. (Col.1:7) We are all to serve the same Master, under the same laws of obedience. We are fellow workers. (Phil.4:3) We are all working for the same Lord toward the same end. We are fellow citizens. (Eph.2:11-12) As such, we are all members of the same kingdom, both here on earth and the one that lies ahead. We are fellow soldiers. In this capacity, we are all figuratively fighting for the Lord with the hope that many would receive Him. Lastly, we are fellow heirs. (Eph.3:6) We are all sharing the great promise that Jesus has made to all who believe in Him and stay with Him for life. The idea that I am trying to convey today is that we all get to share together in the work and in the rewards of the Christian life. So..... "Hey Fella" Are you with me?

Have a great day... Do good.... Give Him the credit... Love mark Phil.4:11
