Keeping Our Judgement Crystal Clear

"How useless to spread a net in full view of all the birds" (Prov.1:17).

Sin in peoples lives emanates from false principles, ignorance, thoughtlessness, or just plain unbelief of what is true. We can actually see these in action as we read about Eve's first sin. "When the woman saw the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it" Three aspects of temptation were thrust upon her all at once... It is incumbent for us, therefore, to store up true principles in our hearts. Not only that, but to refresh them often, that in virtue of them, our actions and affections will be more vigorous in the direction of purity, holiness, and goodness... Where Christ establishes His government, He inspires care to keep the judgement clear and fresh within us. As the judgement remains firm and straight, the entirety of our souls will continue strong almost to the point of being impregnable. For as true judgement in us advances Christ, Christ will advance it. When judgement is fortified daily, evil can find no place to enter because the good things (Phil.4:8) have the spaces within us filled. My verse today harkens back to the days when nets were used to capture birds. The principle is that the net was not put in full view of the bird.. We also have to stay above the fray, not allowing the snares of sin to capture us. We must keep that judgement crystal clear in our minds and hearts, because it is only when we lose sight of it that we succumb... Lets keep it crystal clear...

Have a wonderful day... Do good and give God the credit... Love mark Phil.4:11
