What's The Right Season?

"At the acceptable time I listened to you, and the day of salvation I helped you. Behold, now is the acceptable time, now is the day of salvation..." (2 Cor.6:2)

As we finish this short series about the seasons of our lives, lets take one final look.. The Lord wants us to work for Him, and it does not matter what season we are in. Life is exactly that way. Some of us might be waiting... Waiting for what? Perhaps we're waiting for some other season or time in our life to give God some of our time. The truth is this.. Its not so much that we don't want to serve and follow God, and not that we don't want to trust Jesus as our Savior. The problem may be that we are just waiting for the perfect season and we don't get started. Those that wait for that perfect season may sadly never serve Christ or even come to Him. "Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus" In that wonderful and glorious moment, Peter didn't care about the wind or waves. At that moment, he only saw Jesus and knew he wanted to be near Him. We can't expect to walk on the water if we don't get out of the boat... Some might say: "I'll serve the Lord when the time is right" or "when I'm in the right season and the conditions are just right, then I'll be ready and up to the task..." As we look at today's verse, God says that if that's our attitude, we'll never be the servants we ought to be... "Behold, now is the acceptable time..." Today is the day and now is the season for all to allow the Lord to use us for His glory...

Have a wonderful day... Do good and give HIM the credit... Love mark Phil.4:11
