Prayer That God Will Find A Way

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God" (Phil.4:6).

After thinking about how God's providence works in our lives, it ought to make a difference in the way we pray... As we mature in the Lord, we ought to take to heart the words in today's verse. Our requests to God should be filled with the confidence that God will do whatever is best for us because we believe His promises... "Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us...." (Eph.3:20) It is a wondrous experience of life when our requests are fulfilled, but there is something even more amazing... We all make our prayers with a preference about their outcome, but in reality, we must simply want God to be glorified. We should pray that the Lord will intervene on our behalf, that the sinful designs of Satan will be overruled, and then give thanks for whatever outcome that God decides is the best... I believe that this helps us put the world's problems in a better perspective, and releases us from worrying about tomorrow's uncertainties, while keeping us doing what we can for the Lord. All of this culminates in our faith that God is both good and powerful, and that He will provide us with what we really need... The words of Don Moen's song, "God Will Make a Way" will ring true... "God will make a way where there seems to be no way, He works in ways we cannot see, He will make a way for me. He will be my guide, Hold me closely to His side, With love and strength for each day, He will make a way, he will make a way...."

Have a great start to your week... Begin it with a RAK or two... Love mark Phil.4:11
