A Lost Soul Is Tragic

"When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord snatched Philip away; the eunuch no longbut went on his way rejoicingy rejoicing" (Acts 8:39).

We all suffer losses in life. People we care about die. We may have health issues, disappointments or some other hardships, but all of these pale in comparison to the loss of one's soul. The loss of a soul means two things; Loss of eternity with the Lord... Loss of the Lord's blessing now... When the Ethiopian eunuch came up out of the water after being baptized, it says that he went on his way rejoicing. He felt the wonder of salvation and a new life and was filled with happiness. Non-Christians miss out on influencing people in the very best way. They miss the wonderful fellowship of fellow Christians to help them along their walk. The lose the privilege of being Christ-like. There is just no compensation for these losses. The apostle Paul, in speaking about the eternal nature of man said this; "For we know that if the earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens" (2 Cor.5:1). From the wisdom of Solomon comes this; "Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, and the spirit will return to God who gave itc/i>" (Eccl.12:7). Though things here on earth change from day to day and the value of things may fluctuate wildly, the worth of the soul is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.. Lets embrace and cherish it...

Have a great day... T G I F Thank God I'm Forgiven.... Love mark Phil.4:11
